Import of Excel Sheets
  • Error Message "A network-related or instance-specific error occurred ..." (Link)
  • Import Wizard shows only "Chinese characters" ...
    • -> make sure to export Excel sheet via the option "Unicode Text" an in Import Wizard select Encoding Option "Unicode"
  • Import Wizard does not show preview of importing tables ... Reason can be that too many columns and rows still exist
    • -> Go back to the Excel sheet and delete all superfluous columns
      • select all columns until the end of the document ... Shift+Ctrl+RightKey
      • delete these columns
      • do NOT unselect the columns before saving the file!
      • repeat procedure with all superfluous rows below the table
